The little white egret

Now the heronry has hatched most of the eggs   the Nile is becoming like a snow patch    some are too young to fly and most perish on the first day of falling out of the nest,  or even pushed out of the nest,  many  I saw with broken wings   most survive the fall and make for the open waters of the Nile  then stand at the waters edge wondering what is next.

A walk along the Nile

fishing on the nile

the lazy heron  or clever heron  cought this as it was going into the fish trap  many of these birds get entangled in the fish traps.
