Who will stop America's PMDs (Policies of Mass Destruction)?

William E. Thomas and Joseph Jackson

RB: I think that WWII was a "just" war, because Hitler HAD to be stopped. The Germans could have came here and changed the way the United States ran this country, because the Germans were espousing a lot of the ideals that America longed for, as evidenced by America's policies at the time: Jim Crow, anti-Semitism and other forms of racial discrimination. The internment of Japanese-Americans in prison camps immediately after Pearl Harbor was detestable...PEACE.

Ghetto Intellectual: RB- You stated that the Germans would

"change the way America is run."

Yet you note that Jim Crow was already up and running while the man we now know as  Hitler was still wearing diapers. Moreover, black men who fought against Hitler discovered to their collective disgust that white American troops would rather socialize with captured Nazis than their fellow (black) Americans. Others came home only to be lynched in their military uniforms. Some black men who actually fought in the war concluded that America was no better than Nazi Germany. America today is more brutal than Hitler's Germany. Americans are just more efficient murderers. And our PMDs (Policies of Mass Destruction are even more lethal than are WMDs.

So you see, brother RB, you have it only half right. Yes, Germany had to be "stopped." But America has to be stopped too. Who is going to stop the multi-trillion dollar AMERICAN war machine? Who is going to stop the massive American-controlled weapons market? Our post-Hitler policies have, according to some estimates, killed 20 million in Africa alone. Not to mention the millions of black Americans rotting in prison. The current plight of indigenous Americans is even more dismal than our own. I ask you, my brother, who will stop America? Who will stop this belligerent nation?

Will we be like those few courageous Germans who took a stand against Hitler?

Will we be like our Ancestors in Ayiti (Haiti) who defeated the mightiest army of their time?

Will we be like Ida B. Wells who fearlessly took on lynch mobs in Amerikkka?

...Or will we side with brutish American imperialism currently fronted by a black President?

Buffalo Soldiers
RB: My granddaddy told me that if he didn't have a daughter here (my mom), he would have stayed in Italy. He told me of how Black soldiers slogged through snow, while German POW's rode in comfort on trucks...PEACE.

African American Soldiers
In April 1944, nine African American soldiers were denied service at several establishments in Texas. As they left, "about two dozen German prisoners of war, with two American guards came to the station," remembered Corporal Rupert Trimmingham, one of the black soldiers. "They . . . had their meals served, talked, smoked, in fact had quite a swell time. . . . I could not help but ask myself why they are treated better than we are?"

In the 1940s, the segregation of African Americans was not limited to civilian life. About 909,000 black Americans served in the Army during WWII, but most of these recruits were assigned to support details because military leaders questioned their ability to perform effectively in combat.
