To advocate on behalf of Kofi and to protest his shooting, you can:

A. Call, email/fax/snail mail the University of Florida Gainesville Board of Trustees at: University of Florida Board of Trustees 123 Tigert Hall PO Box 113125. Gainesville, FL 32611-3125. 1. express your concern for Kofi Adu-Brempong, and your concern regarding their inadequate response to this incident and their negligence in hiring Officer Kevin Smith, despite his record of abuse and lack of competence to police.


2. Request the firing of Keith Smith, the officer who shot Kofi Adu-Brempong in the face. In 2008, Keith Smith was given a verbal warning by the Gainesville city police department where he previously worked. Smith and three other police officers were throwing eggs and harassing African Americans in the local community. The university police ignored this warning and hired Keith Smith....
