Media portrayals of Black folks is generally bad and frequently racist. "Roc" was an exception to that rule.

Who remembers Roc? A great show about more or less ordinary black folks starring Charles Dutton. It is representative of what the media could be if the industry was not content with stereotypical images of Black/Afrikan people.
